The corn used here was hand painted. We turned them into magnets for MoCCA Fest, and they went home with our buddies Mel & Ben. They are adorable!
Got those little hot tubbing corn on my fridge right now!
I feel like I should do the artsy thing and make something cool from all this cardboard. Any ideas?
Spent the weekend moving in, and just now connected to my wifi. You know it’s a cool place when one of your neighbors has PEN15 as a wifi password.
I miss the summer air.
Throwback photo of me on a small bridge over a creek near my house. Taken some time around 2010 - I think.

Yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised to win the 2014 Don Breter Memorial Outstanding Illustration Award from Kutztown University!
It’s an incredible feeling to have your college recognize all your hard work, and I’m definitely amazed to have been chosen out of all the other amazing illustrators in my class.
Gotta love #MoccaFest! Got to see some awesome friends, hand out zines and buy comics. The best kind of day. @mixtapecomics @snakesanddaggers (at 69th Regiment Armory)
I’ve got 50 copies of my newest mini-zine to give away tomorrow at MoCCA fest
I Might have spaced on getting a table, but it’ll be super fun to be able to walk around all I want and say hi to internet friends.
If you see me in my maroon beanie, brown coat, and army green bag I’ll give you a copy for free. (Trades appreciated!)
Here are some cute doodles I did this week. I recently seem to have remembered how to draw people and not just sleepers.
It’s been super hard to work on my new zine in between packing to move to a new apartment, my still quite new job, my sudden car-less status, and unpacking boxes to find art supplies I foolishly packed away early.
Anyway, I’m really inspired lately to draw more and going to MoCCA fest in NY this weekend will definitely just add to my inspiration. Excited to see tumblr friends in real life, and probably high five.
I’ll be the cool kid in the maroon beanie who looks like all the other cool kids in maroon beanies.
See ya. 😘
